Bluegrass Festival Kicks-Off with Wednesday Night Barbecue at the Fairgrounds

Come enjoy some great barbecue and truly American music this Wednesday night, June 21st, as the 8th Annual Susanville Bluegrass Festival kicks-off at the Lassen County Fairgrounds.

The free bluegrass music event gives local families a chance to get together on a gorgeous evening with an opportunity to hear some of the bluegrass music to be featured in this weekend’s festival. Taking center stage will be nationally known recording artists Jeff Scroggins and Colorado, along with music camp performers.

From 5:00 to 8:00p.m., a full Tri-Tip dinner with baked potato, beans, and salad will be served in front of the stage area. Tickets for the barbecue are $12, children $6 and under are free.

Tables will be setup and according to organizers music will begin about 6:00 with the free concert lasting until around 8:00.

Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs!

Tickets for the dinner are available at Margie’s Book Nook and the Lassen County Fairgrounds. Purchase of a ticket enters you into a drawing for a 3-day festival pass!
