Local radio announcer Scott Blackwood took to the skies once again December 11th, as part of a fifteen year old tradition that has raised countless dollars and donations for the local 'Coats for Kids' project. Scott broadcast live on KSUE and 93JDX from his perch 60 feet above the Susanville McDonald's, until he and the stations reached their fundraising goals on Friday morning. Through the efforts of Scott, the Radio Network and volunteers from Crossroads ministry the 'Coats for Kids' program received well over a thousand coats and more than 2,000 dollars in donations.
