The talented local singers, dancers and stage crew of Susanville’s Best of Broadway concert series, more than 250 of them, have been busily rehearsing at the Veterans Hall getting ready for next week’s performances.
This Broadway revue show will include selections from Grease, Annie Get Your Gun, Jekyll & Hyde, Into the Woods, Aladdin, Phantom of the Opera and Spamalot. Tickets are $10 and are available at Margie’s Book Nook, Treats and the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce.
Quite a few of these hardworking cast members have practiced for months, rehearsing each act to perfection. The cast includes talented actors and actresses, soloists, chorus singers, costume designers, dancers, seamstresses and makeup artists and not to mention lighting, sound design, scenery construction and rigging crews.
Shows are scheduled for Friday and Saturday March 6th and 7th and March 13th and 14th at 7:00p.m. with 2:00p.m. Saturday matinees.
Tickets to the performance, normally sold out early, are $10 and are being sold at Margies Book Nook, Treats Dog co. and the Chamber of Commerce.
