Baseball: Renegades take 2 from Galena

The Renegades traveled to Reno on Sat to play a Galena High School. Susanville swept a doubleheader. In the first game the Renegades won 6-2. Jarrell Cunningham went six strong innings for the win and Donald Wanner pitched a perfect seventh inning, striking out three.  On offense Cunningham and Hunter Morris each had three hits. Chase Dillon broke the game open with a three run homer to break a tie in the 7th inning and secure the win.

In the second game, Susanville won 9-5 behind strong pitching form Ryan Sharpe and Garrison Collier. On offense, Dillon had three hits and another home run and collier also added a homer and a single. Cunningham tripled and singled. The 19U Team concludes its season on Sat at 12:00 with a doubleheader against the Redding Tigers at Memorial Park.
