Barbara Pettitt
Barbara Pettitt, beloved wife, mother and grandmother entered into the loving arms of Jesus on Sept. 12, 2014, at the age of 80 years.
She was born on Dec. 29, 1933 in Lufkin, Texas to Ernest and Bertie Daniels.
Barbara was a long-time resident of Herlong, CA. for over 60 years. Jobs included picking and packing tomatoes in Rusk, TX, ammunition worker, long-time school bus driver in Lassen County and Motor pool dispatcher at Sierra Army Depot. Barbara also was the owner of a local donut shop in Herlong, CA.
She is preceded in death by parents Ernest and Bertie Daniels, and siblings Lucille Yount, Melba Piper and LV. Daniels.
Survivors include husband Jack Pettitt of Herlong, daughter, Sharon Peetz and husband Gary of Auburn, WA., son, Dennis Pettitt of Sacramento, CA., granddaughters, Mandy Boggs and husband Joshua, Courtney Peetz, Cassidy Peetz of Auburn WA., Erin Pettitt, Anna Pettitt of Sacramento, CA., and great-grandchildren, Javon Boggs and Reagan Boggs of Auburn, WA.Â
