The Lassen County Farm Bureau and Every Bloomin’ Thing Nursery are teaming up once again to bring microbrew and blues to Lassen County on August 9th from 5:00 to 9:00p.m. for their sixth annual Blues and Brews Festival scholarship fundraiser.
At the Susanville Blues and Brews Festival one can enjoy a tasty sip of microbrew, the sweet sounds of blues and tri-tip – and enjoy it all in the relaxing atmosphere of Every Bloomin’ Thing nursery.
Dance the summer evening away with the sounds of two great bands; the Jason King Band from Reno and Luther Red from Susanville.
Proceeds from the Blues and Brews event help support local youth pursuing careers in agriculture. Additionally some of the proceeds help fund agricultural education.
Tickets can be purchased at Every Bloomin’ Thing in Susanville and Chester and at Lassen Ale Works. Pre-sale tickets are $30 and include unlimited microbrew tasting, a mug, tri-tip dinner, and blues entertainment. Admission for the under-21 crowd is only $15. Bring your lawn chairs!
