Lassen County’s most exciting week of the year is here! The 2017 Lassen County Fair, which runs from July 19th through the 23rd, kicks off Tuesday evening with the annual 4H fundraiser BBQ.
BBQ beef tri-tip or chicken, baked potato, green salad, roll and desert are all on the menu from 5:00 to 6:30 at the fairgrounds.
You can purchase discounted tickets ahead of time from any 4H member or at the 4H office, 707 Nevada Street.
The night of the event dinner is $13 for adults and $7 for children under 10.
The proceeds from the fundraiser are used to fund county wide 4H events like Presentation Day, Home Arts Extravaganza, the 4H Fashion Review, Dog Show, Horse Show, skills days, leadership conferences, study travel, record book medals and year end pins.
