Historical Books at Rails to Trails

The Lassen County Historical Society will be at the Rails to Trails Festival this weekend selling many items that make great holiday gifts.

They have books on local history, craft items, mugs, t-shirts, and other things to make your visit to the depot memorable.

One of the newest books for sale is the reprint of George McDow’s Booms and Mushrooms, a wonderful look at the early twentieth century in Susanville.

There are also books on Isaac Roop, Susanville’s founder, Peter Lassen, Maggie Greeno, and other local pioneers.

The Historical Society will be selling books all day Saturday at the historical depot on Richmond Road.
