CalTrans: Expect Long Delays Near Susanville This Week

The California Department of Transportation is warning motorists to expect long delays this week on Highway 36 between Susanville and the junction of Highway 395 near Johnstonville.

According to CalTrans, between now and Thursday evening drivers will be subjected to delays of up to 30 minutes and Highway 36 will be reduced to one unpaved lane.

Motorists can bypass the construction zone by using Johnstonville Road and rejoining the highway in Johnstonville.
