Wildfire Update: Thumper Hill Fire with Photos and Video

The Thumper fire, which began last night on the north side of the Susan River Canyon by Thumper Hill road along Highway 36, was handled during the night by numerous resources from agencies around the county.

Crews and engines began to be released around 2:30a.m last night.

Thanks to Jennifer Petersen we have photos this morning from the edge of the fire and also video showing some of the burned area.
