A SusanvilleStuff Video Feature
by Jim Chapman

Ever wondered what it’s like to be on the Rotary flag trailer on holiday mornings as they decorate Susanville’s Main Street?

SusanvilleStuff correspondent Jim Chapman sends us this cool video from the Rotary Flag Cam, taken as the Rotarians put up and took down flags for the 4th of July.

In the video you’ll see Gary Felt, Sam Williams, Katie Anderson, Richard Egan, Sheriff Dean Growdon, Bob McCown, Joyce Eid and the new Rotary Club president Fred Autenrib putting up and taking down flags. Todd Eid drove the truck and trailer while Jim filmed from the passenger side.

“We split the crew in two,” explains Chapman, acting as Flag Chairman for Rotary, “with two working the flags while the other two are on the street side watching for traffic and helping roll flags on takedown or unroll flags on setup.”

Amazing teamwork by the flag crew got the task done in only 32 minutes!
