The New Susanville Auto Stage, 1920s

New Stage Service for Susanville
May 4th, 1927

Stage service between Reno and the Susanville-Westwood territory was augmented today by the addition of another motor stage, which makes a total of three autos that will make round trips between Reno, Chico and the Lassen district.

The new stage will arrive in Reno about noon and will afford Westwood and Susanville people an opportunity to transact business there during the day, returning to their homes in the evening.

The stage will leave Westwood at 8:30a.m. and Susanville at 9:30a.m. and will arrive in Reno at 12:45p.m.

Returning to the north, the stage will leave Reno at 5 p.m. and will arrive in Susanville at 8:30 and in Westwood at 9:30p.m.

The time of departure for other stages of this line remain the same, one leaving Reno at 8:30a.m. and another at 12noon for the north.
