This evening local athlete Natalie Yonan signed her letter of intent to attend division 1 Charleston Southern University in Charleston, South Carolina, and play softball.

She is most looking forward to playing softball in college but isn’t excited about how far away from home she will be.

Lassen High Coach Paul Moore, along with Jason Bernard, Steve Robertson, Tony Esparza, Brett Mitchell, Coach Lance Whittaker from the Chico Starz, Ron Jarrell and dad Glen Yonan all spoke about Natalie.

She is an amazing young lady with an incredible work ethic and talent. She may be going away to college but this town will be supporting her wherever she is. Congratulations and Good Luck Nat!
