From the Archives: New Year’s Flooding 2005

Welcome to the SusanvilleStuff.com archives, where we take a look back at our coverage of news, events and community happenings over our last 8 years.

With the dry weather we’ve experienced so far this winter it’s hard to imagine a year where we had flooding by the end of December. As 2005 came to a close water levels rose to dangerous levels along the banks of the Susan River and out into the valley. Luckily city and county crews kept the damage to a minimum.
