Lassen Municipal Utility District has announced the winning entries for their 2012 Student Art Calendar and there is some fantastic artwork to decorate your walls for the next 12 months.
Winning students were honored at a ceremony tonight, and the calendar, whose theme is “Stay Clear and Stay Alive!” will soon be back from the printers and ready to hang before Christmas.
Each student was asked to submit artwork showing the importance of electric safety, and how to avoid trouble in dangerous situations. 12 submissions were chosen to be featured in the annual calendar.
Featured in this year’s calendar will be artwork by Charity Richards, Coral League, Damian Wynters, Emma Newton, Jesse Morgan, Jordan Smith, Kaitlyn Cooper, Korbin Gilly, Nolan Mallery, Paige Martin, Ryleigh Hart and Trevor Caravan.
The winning students each received an award certificate and a twenty-five dollar gift card, presented by LMUD’s board President Bud Bowden.
