The Lassen Roping Club will sponsor a rodeo and racing program of quarter horses at the Lassen County Fair Grounds, where the new $65,000 all-steel grandstand is being completed.
Roy Roger’s horse ‘Trigger Jr.’ will perform four shows including a trick riding show and a kiddie performance on Sunday.
The Lassen County Memorial Athletic association will sponsor a baseball game between the Susanville Merchants and Alturas Tigers on both Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday night game will be played under the new $12,000 lighting system which has just been installed.
